Getting ready for HWT 2012

For this year’s holy week trip, we will be going to Aurora, Baler. Mom and dad and many others are leaving on April 4 morning, while my sisters and I, and 2 others will be commuting there on April 5 EARLY morning (1230 or 0130 am) by bus. Work comes first. According to the bus operator, it will be a 4 hour non-stop drive.

I have a bit of free time today, so I did a little research on Baler, Aurora. We are going to stay in Bahia de Baler. I think we are getting the loft rooms with 2 double beds, since the families going consists of 4 to 7 people. I am very excited with the possible activities in the area. Beach: check! Watersports: check! Outdoor activities like trekking and cove hopping: check! Historical sites: check, check, check!!! Almost everything I want in an out-of-town-revitalizing-trip! I can’t wait to relax in this upcoming trip!

Shobe and I are planning on buying an slr. Hopefully before HWT. Our problem: we are still kind of short in cash. @_@ ohwell…..
 
 
PS. I’m not sure if I have mentioned here ever, but I think I haven’t… Since I can’t find a post regarding these…. I have pinterest now. haha. It’s like ‘my’ second notcot.org but I can pin+save them for future references and/or what not.

I am known for being easy to laugh at even to the cheesiest, corniest, driest, just-a-tad-bit-funny jokes. That is how shallow my humor can be sometimes… …<_<

BUT! asdfmovies are definitely one of the top funniest short videos I've seen. They don't crack me up till I can't breathe anymore, but it plasters a wide smile on my face. Like this: =D haha. I can watch the videos ALL day. hahahaha. I have came across this video through kids react.

I'm not sure how I liked those videos… maybe it's the randomness of the scenes.. or it could be the minimalistic art? The scenes don't make any sense, but you can't help but at least chuckle. I like the teeny splashes of colors. =)) Train boy is hilarious in his…..own special way o_o; haha.

I have just moved into a new firm since February 1 and was immediately greeted by deadlines. So, I was partly surprised to feel the sudden mood to draw. I have no actual scene in my head when I drew this. I just started drawing a few curvilinear lines of what may be a lake or stream. Then from there I felt like adding a tree, and so on. It looks peaceful doesn’t it?

 
During this morning’s grace period in work, I opened google.com. Apprently it’s Charles Dicken’s birthday! I have not read his novels yet. I am a bit familiar of Oliver Twist though. I guess I sort of got the inspiration of the drawing this from knowing that fact.

Old files

On the way home from work, I planned on writing in my actual journal. There were a lot of thoughts and worries running in my head and I needed to sort them out by writing them down. Those are personal thoughts and not really fun which is why I am not posting them here. haha. No worries. These are good stresses… or at least I think it is.

 
After doing all the routine once I arrived home, I sought out for my journal. Huh… Where did I last hide you? I don’t write as often as I did anymore. Maybe it’s because nothing much had been happening lately. No thoughts to be sorted out. No real big news to share. Until now anyway. I couldn’t find it, so I’ve decided to just go to my next plan for tonight: choose an office-use-only notebook. I store all of my stash of notebooks in just one place. I know where to look for them. Easy enough.

 
I actually love notebooks! Even the ones with plain and boring covers. The texture/feel of the paper makes up for the covers. With that, I have several under-used and unused notebooks. Much to my surprise, I had one not so plain-looking underused notebook with scrap papers inserted between the pages. The papers’ layouts were in landscape. I was about to ignore them when I had read this exact line:

 

“I’m sorry I wasn’t here when it happened….” (just in case my you can’t read my handwriting.)

But really, I’m very interested to know/play this game. haha.

 
Today was my first day in new firm! I like it so far. Sure, the distance doubles the distance of former firm, but it is worth it. Fascinating people, I like. ^^ よろしくお願いします!!!

 
My work is from 830am to 6pm++. Who said architecture is only an 8hour job? Besides, time flies when you’re having fun. …Or when you are meeting a deadline. haha… But, yeh. I like this. more interaction with everyone. =^^=
