Foodietraveller

11 06 2011

I admit that it takes me weeks or months to update or post anything about a certain place my family and I have visited. An example would be last month’s trip. My sister and I and a friend went to Bacolod last month. I did plan on posting stuffs about it here… of which I still have not. lol

The good news is you get to read about the trip to Bacolod (part 1, part 2, part 3)! Achi (older sister) has a blog now, Foodietraveller. She posts mostly of food and so far, our trip last month :)

I mostly post pictures here, and put a few sentences to elaborate on what’s up with there in the photo. I thought achi did a better job on ‘endorsing’ a place =)) She even puts maps and details on how to get to that certain place, too! :D

Temporary Escape

30 11 2010

we all have one those times when life is in disarray to the point we would like to runaway. though it is cowardly to runaway though..

life has been chaotic lately… and my “temporary escape” has always been my imagination…

It’s almost December! the weather’s kinda cool lately…

BUT!

(Bacolod 2009)

I wanna go the beachhhhh this december!!!
I think I can work while at the beach.
the sound of the waves…

(Zambales 2007)

the sound of the leaves of the trees blown by the wind…
the smell of salt water…

(Pagudpud 2009)

the occasional sound of karaoke by drunk people..
the vivid colors of the sky (even if its cloudy)…

(Bacolod 2009)

the tranquil scenery….
I want to go to the beach and be a party-pooper cause im gonna do my work while at the beach :p

:( although… where will I go? haha. and who’re going with me? boracay is so mainstream lol… batangas then? or zambales? pagudpud/Ilocos is so far awaaayyy…..

Ima own my own resort someday!!!! >.<

this is one of my temp escape from reality… it makes me feel somewhat better afterwards haha.

Basking Under the Sun

7 11 2009

This pic is currently my desktop wallpaper :)

I took this shot during our previous trip to Bacolod City, Philippines at the Jomabo island using canon digital ixus 860 IS.

I found this shot very moving/heartwarming. I dunno.
Whenever i’d feel helpless/stressed from the amount of school works and deadlines to meet, I’d see this picture and will feel better and/or somehow motivated.
It must be the silhouetted figures in the distance who are like fishermen (they were looking for seafoods that can be caught during low tide) who were working since noon till evening or the sunset or both…(lol)

Bacolod City: a laid back city where almost anything you need is only a few blocks away
