(Project 6) J’s gift

This was A’s gift last year. My first plan was giving J something similar to this. I couldn’t think of a perfect concept though for the BGD. The initial idea for the BGD is space/solar system because J can sometimes be… 4D. (haha). The idea didn’t sit right though. I scratched the idea. I also wanted to do something different.

The final scheme for the gift was triggered by an image I found on pinterest. A room filled of helium-balloons with a photo and note at the end of the string. [Something similar to this].. Of course, I can’t really fill a room with balloons. How unrealistic. Haha. I wanted something simple, too. Hence, the idea below ↓: a helium balloon inside a box, with a folded letter or something attached to the string.

Christmas gifts 2011

One of the few things I love about Christmas is wrapping gifts! It must be because I love pretty packages. I thought it adds excitement and satisfaction to the receiver. I reused ribbons and scrap colored papers. The only thing I bought, besides from the goodies, was the silver-gray wrap paper with black and white circle prints.

 
We had a family trip last November to Korea. Souvenirs were quite expensive, and the only things I know most of the people really appreciated were anything edible. Hence, the Souvenir+Christmas goody bags: Binch, and hard candies. Oh yeah, killed two bird with one stone! I also added the local chocolate flat tops.

What is bright summer colors. Lol Yes, it is Christmas, but I reckoned it would add amusement for the receivers. Besides, the colors of the goodies were not bright. It needed to pop! So… contrast I did. I had the colored papers since 5 years ago. I thought that it was the perfect time to use them. ^^;

(Project 2) A’s gift!

First: A big shoutout to one of my college friends, K.S. Go who have happened to stumble upon this blog. hahaha! LOL Who would’ve thought the chances of him “browsing for UST college of architecture stuffs in the net and reminiscing of college days” (as he had put it) would lead him here… =)) *1*

(Project B) coloring day

Today is August 19~! It’s Quezon City day- a dayoff for Quezon City workers, and I’m one of ‘em! (Achi works in Ortigas, Pasig, and shobe studies in Manila got the whole house for myself today~! sortof… o_o; )

A belated happy birthday to A (of m.a.j.e.)! Her birthday was on the 17th, and I have just started making stuffs for her gift ^^; I got the gift idea since… the first week of august. lol )

hmm…They aren’t bad.. but, they aren’t that good either. hahaha. Yes all 3 versions are different. lol in the watercolor, I thought the umbrella stood out too much, so, I changed the color in the watercolor. The tree trunk in color-pencils was kinda out of place; therefore, I removed it in the next… The watercolor is almost plain… but I like the landscape =)) ohwell.. ^^;

It’s been a long time since I have colored manually again =)) last time was in third year college I think lol I made two types because I plan on keeping only one of them …. I want to keep both!!! D:

I plan of putting it in a “tato” (some sort of box), as seen in this link, Along with a letter, because I can be a bit sentimental like that. I have actually done the box already, but it looked kinda plain. So, I might add some decors or something. ^^;

A and I haven’t seen each other in monthss!!!…. I dont know when we’re gona see each other yet. D: hopefully soon! I miss her T.T (along with M and J. but M and her family has migrated to Vancouver… (o_o ) ) I should put this is a small paperbag when I’m gona give it to A. J’s gift is similar to this, too XD (her bday’s on January) I plan on giving M something like this, too, when she comes back for vacation next year heheh

   
PS. maje is what we call our little group. lol Actually, someone else started calling us that. We like it anyway. ^^ It consists of our first name’s initial obviously A is Andrea.
