Getting ready for HWT 2012

For this year’s holy week trip, we will be going to Aurora, Baler. Mom and dad and many others are leaving on April 4 morning, while my sisters and I, and 2 others will be commuting there on April 5 EARLY morning (1230 or 0130 am) by bus. Work comes first. According to the bus operator, it will be a 4 hour non-stop drive.

I have a bit of free time today, so I did a little research on Baler, Aurora. We are going to stay in Bahia de Baler. I think we are getting the loft rooms with 2 double beds, since the families going consists of 4 to 7 people. I am very excited with the possible activities in the area. Beach: check! Watersports: check! Outdoor activities like trekking and cove hopping: check! Historical sites: check, check, check!!! Almost everything I want in an out-of-town-revitalizing-trip! I can’t wait to relax in this upcoming trip!

Shobe and I are planning on buying an slr. Hopefully before HWT. Our problem: we are still kind of short in cash. @_@ ohwell…..
 
 
PS. I’m not sure if I have mentioned here ever, but I think I haven’t… Since I can’t find a post regarding these…. I have pinterest now. haha. It’s like ‘my’ second notcot.org but I can pin+save them for future references and/or what not.

Holy Week Trip 2011

Holy Week Trip 2011 – with family friends again!
(April 19 – April 24)
This year we went to Donsol, Sorsogon and Camarines Sur!
 
We left Manila (SLEX Petron Station) at around 10pm and arrived in Albay approx. 700am we planned on going straight to Sorsogon, but we had stopped by the Cagsawa Ruins site first because the Mayon Volcano wasn’t shy that morning! We can see its cone-shaped tip and the trail down the volcano caused by the lava flow (I guess). The visit to the Cagsawa Ruins would be my third, btw still love the site though ^^

Holy Week Trip 2010: Nueva Ecija

been busy lately~ right after the holy week, a friend told me that we had to report to one of the firms we had applied. =) yes, we have been accepted as an ojt ^^ yey~ still working there btw

mini spam: i have seriously found my “group of peeps” in that firm! XD i rarely know people who watches jdramas and jmovies and watches anime and likes rurouni kenshin a lot and other old school anime(s). XD and just a few days ago i heard one of the peeps said “look up notcot.org for images.” i tried to suppressed my glee ♥

we went to Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija with some other family friends .
whenever we go somewhere out of town, i love taking random pictures: a body of water, foliage, the sky, how the sun’s light reflects so nicely on the leaves of random trees, the starry night sky (i try to anyway..), etc

Armed with our “family owned camera” canon digital ixus 860 ISand almost (or more than) 30years old tripod (we found dad’s tripod when we were cleaning the master’s bedroom for a new paint job =D)

Location: Zambales

Here are some pictures from our trips to Zambales. The first two pictures below were taken back in 2008 with my family, while the latter were in 2007 with my college friends.

There is no resort on the Potipot Island (until now i think?), so my family and I, along with some family friends, stayed at some beach resort; while my college friends and i stayed at one of my college friend’s uncle’s private beach front property.

Doesn’t Fishie(-bone) look horrified? I think I may had bought this pair of slippers just because of that reason.
