Currently procrastinating from fixing my stuffs for tomorrow morning, led me to this variety show:
Two of my fave artists in one show! I have only mentioned Xiao Hong Ren here once, but I have listened to his albums and they are good! I’m loving his voice, too. They are both so talented! … and a bit awkward in this variety show ^^; LOL at Yen-J for using English lyrics in the first challenge.
Now, I need to see a similar variety show of Jay Chou and Wang Lee Hom in one show! =^^= There will be inevitable fandom hate, but I think the show would be awesome!!!
Again, their video is so simple yet so fitting~~! The scene where they suddenly see one another (at 2:22) must have been a bit awkward yet amusing to shoot. Haha
I love the melody of the song~! It’s so fricking catchy! It doesn’t feel so heavy for a rock song. I think this is a good, cheer-up, inspiring song (like their Convincing, but only better)! Especially with this line, “dream as if you’ll live forever, but live as if you’ll die today.” In short: Live life to the fullest. There are no official lyrics in the net as of yet, but, there is an unofficial one circulating somewhere~~.
Taka seems to be attached in writing English lyrics ^^; Not that it’s bad… He’s accent is sortof decent enough, and he can write good English sentences/phrases I guess… But, in some cases when you join all the phrases/sentences together, it becomes… weirdly amusing ^^; Like the sudden insert in [no scared]‘s: “I feel like a man.” =)) So I dunno… But, from what I could understand from listening to this song, they’re okay. For now. Must wait for the official lyrics.
But, yeh, overall, the song and music video is very good! ^^ Would recommend this song to nonfans (Although, I wonder why they chose to shoot at that place. Not that I don’t like it, just that maybe they had a reason why they chose there. Just curious.)
Currently listening to their 5th Album: Zankyo Reference (残響リファレンス) right now and I LAVET! I wonder if they sell One OK Rock albums in Korea… o_o (going to Korea next month!) They are sooooo gooood. =(^w^)= This is their best album yet! I hope they’ll rank higher than their previous albums in oricon!!! They deserve it for improving so much. \(TuT)/
2. [王力宏] Wang Leehom: 「依然愛你」 Still In Love With You
After that Open Fire [火力全开] uhm… song+video… Here is a medium-tempo ballad from our music-man, LeeHom! ^^ I love his ballads. ♥♥♥ They are all just so full of emotions! Base on the title, it’s obvious that the male lead in the song is still in love with someone. Lol.(I wonder if this is another leehom life story just like Mary Says and Forever Love)
This video is another open ending. (The other open ending was heartbeat [心跳].) I don’t know if they got together again, or if they just had a closure. Ohwell, it’s kinda fun that way I guess. Anyway, I like the music video. ^^ Apparently, based on the youtube comments, it’s a WongFu Production collab (?) video. And, WongFu seems to be quite famous with his/their video productions. ^^; Good job anyway~!! I like the calendar+clock concept.
The lyrics of the song is kinda sweet. I wonder if Leehom’s gonna put eng subs again in his videos haha ^^ If he didn’t I’ll try to translate it. Anyway, the gist of the lyrics is, “After so many years of you gone, I feel empty without you. I still love you a lot.” Yeh….. simple yet actually moving.
I wonder what his other songs in his new upcoming album would be. O_o I hope it would be a whole lot better than the previous. 18 Martial Arts is kinda meh… My fave album of his would be Heroes of the Earth and Heart Beat. Shangri-la was fun though.
3. Behind the scenes of a Moleskine video
Okay. So this isn’t really an MV, but the video is a lot of fun & cute~! It seems like they don’t have the final version yet though….
okay. just read previous again and it was a tad bit weird. =)) ohwell…
anyway~
This is another about video posts. specifically music videos (aka MV).
First up is Yen-J’s 【明星的愛】– literally translated as “Celebrity’s Love.”
The video has english subs~! I tried translating this song back then, but I wasn’t familiar with some of the words. o_o; and I got confused with translations of the words I got from the internet.
Based on the title, you’ll already know what to expect in the MV. It’s hard to keep a star’s life in private. Some are almost successful (ie leehom), but it doesn’t stop rumors from flying around. I think the song is Yen-J’s way of making things clear about his private life to everyone and not only to the Paparazzi. I like the lyrics of the song– so straightforward. I don’t think anyone would misunderstand it.
As for the video… It’s kinda okay.. It suited the medium-to-fast-tempo of the song. It also conveyed the lyrics. But, I’m not sure if I like the newspapers-bgd-with-YenJ. The first few appearances of it are okay.. but I kind got a bit tired of it towards the end. o_o; (I’ll rate this 3.5 stars haha.)
*This is just a teaser actually. And I just have found out now that he has released the full MV this morning. like 1am morning? <_<*
Wang LeeHom’s (王力宏): 【火力全開】 meaning “Open Fire.” (Actually that was Leehom’s translation).
Okay. I see leehom dancing. =)) Not saying he is bad.. I just find it amusing every time he dances, but in a good way. ^^ I think he is better than Kim Joejang Jaejoong (but Jaejoong has improved, no? Look at 2011 Daegu IAAF World Championships closing ceremony! o_o I mean JJ can dance.. but he mostly flails back then when he does sortof solos. XD)
When I saw the video I expected chinked-out music.. It kinda is? but.. more leaning to Kpop-ish ness =( The chorus did anyway. Must listen to the whole song I guess.
The video looks interesting actually. I have seen the 11 second teaser a few days ago (or was it last week?), and I thought it was an RPG or movie XD didn’t read the title at all. I only saw that officialwangleehom has updated in my youtube subscriptions and clicked right away lol. XD But yeh, The teaser looked promising ^^
Must edit this after I have watched the video(currently in the office)
Third MV!!!!!!! Shobe and I have been waiting for this MV since the news of them making an MV for this song!
JYJ’s “In Heaven”
I lovelovelovelove this song ever since I have heard it through fancams from their previous concerts! This was actually written and composed by Kim JoejangJaejoong. I think this is the members’ first composition of a ‘powerful’ song (I don’t know what you call them. other examples of what I meant are DBSK’s Tonight, Love in the Ice and Bolero.) That fact made me like this song even more
Afaik, this song is dedicated to JJ’s friend who had passed away early this year, Park YongHwa. =( That time, JYJ were in the US for their showcase. sad.
The MV is so freaking good! I knew the teaser kept me hanging, but I didn’t really expect it to be THAT good. ILAVET! I was a tad bit worried of Junsu’s acting XD like 10% worried. He does well on stages (concerts, musicals), but he isn’t relatively known to act well on dramas… Technically, this MV is a short drama. Junsu had fail-acting moments in his cameo in the Kdrama Scent of a Woman– but he’s forgiven because his fail-acting was funny+cute. =))
The MV started with Junsu having a presentation which looks like he has a high position in that office, and Song Ji-hyo his girlfriend who later got hit by a car. The first half was a bit confusing, but you’ll understand the whole MV towards the ending.
spoiler: Junsu was given a second chance to make up for her GF! At first I thought it was only a dream, but you have to consider the scenes where Junsu was staring longingly at their pictures. Then one morning, Ji Hyo was at the door, and Junsu just stared at her like wth? then the Junsu looking at calendar scene. They both die in the end. Typical kdrama… <_< but it wouldn't make sense if they both lived though.
I wonder who had thought of this concept for the video. I never would’ve thought it to be that. I like it a lot anyway. But I’m curious why they did the second chance thing. yeh…. (I hope eatyourkimchi will give a review about this song XD)
This MV is the best MV so far from DBSK/JYJ! XD Doushite was similar, but compared to this, Doushite’s milder. haha. Both are still good though. Big improvement from the Ayy Girl MV of JYJ, definitely!:) 5 out of 5stars! XD
title: 你不知道的事 (All the Things You Never Knew)
This song was included in the album Wang LeeHom had released mid this year.
I like this song very much. the melody is simple, but the lyrics are very emotional.
the chorus is just heart breaking really:
你不知道我為什麼離開你
我堅持不能說放任你哭泣
你的淚滴像 傾盆大雨 碎了滿地
在心理清晰
你不知道我為什麼狠下心
盤旋在你看不見的高空裡
多的是 你不知道的事
You don’t know why I had to leave you
How I could ignore your every cry
All the while the downpour of your tears shattering the ground
So clearly pierced my heart
You don’t know why I had to keep away
Circling in the sky above, just out of sight
So many are the things you never knew
To think I have dismissed the idea of creating a twitter account before… but I saw that Wang lee hom, jaejoong, junsu, yoochun, etc have twitters… I thought. Omgsun. This is a sign(that i should create an account)! ~(*A*)~ lol
I also thought that twitter is a good social network to be quickly updated. Haha I don’t need to open several tabs just to know what was up in the world.
another random thing that I did this year.
ps. we won’t be going to Ilocos tomorrow still raining hard up there
